Faculty need to request setup of a network folder for their classes. The following information is required to complete a request:

Faculty member who needs access.
*

Semester the class folder will be used.

*
Class code and sections.

ENTER YOUR REQUEST by entering a Help Desk Ticket at http://helpdesk.bloomu.edu - include the specified information noted above so your request can be processed as quickly as possible.


Important information about class folders:

Default access levels will be:
* Class Folder - Students Read Only; Requested Faculty Full Access.
* Drop box subfolder - Individual students can only read/write their own files; they cannot see or access files for other users. Requested faculty have full access.
 
A class list will be pulled when creating the class folder to give security.
 
The network path will be \\classdata\Classes\Fall-2005\<classnumber>
 
Students U drive maps to \\classdata\classes for access. Faculty will need to use the UNC path or make a shortcut to the folder.
 
The class folders will be retained for two semesters, but can easily be copied or rotated as necessary.
