Mimosa Archiving

Webmail

The Mimosa Archive system is a comprehensive software solution for Microsoft Exchange that unifies email recovery, archiving and storage optimization.

You will see a folder in your folder list called Mimosa Archive.

How Mimosa works -
Every email that comes into your email account, or email that is sent from you, will be stored in Mimosa. This takes the place of all prior archiving methods. No further setup is required on your part.

Messages will be stored for a period of two years (per our email retention policy).

What you can expect - Messages will stay in your regular inbox for 4 weeks. Calendar items will stay on your regular calendar for 6 months. After that timeframe, look in the Mimosa folder for items. There are various ways to search in Mimosa. It will be helpful to view the reference guides below to understand how to use this system.

Need to save messages to keep them longer than the allotted 2 year retention period? Try these options!

1) Create a PST File locally (copying messages from the mail server). Directions for creating PST files can be found here. Warning: You won't be able to access the .pst file (and mail stored there) when using Webmail.

2) Save Outlook messages
in other areas of your computer. Directions can be found here.
