Microsoft has discontinued the sale of FrontPage. Therefore, the Office of Technology no longer supports its use on campus. The following resources are still posted, however, should you need assistance setting up your copy of FrontPage.

Student web space...


Every student is automatically assigned 100 megabytes of space on the "MyWeb" Server.

Your website URL address is http://myweb.bloomu.edu/ username (your user name)

Tutorials are located on this page by scrolling down or by accessing the menu on the right.

You will need to know your user name and password to set up and publish files. These are the same as the ones you use to log into your MyMail email account. See Note below if you are unsure of your log on information.

NOTE: Your user ID and password can be found in STINF under the "Biographical" button. Log into STINF using your student ID and 4-digit PIN number. (Your PIN number can be found on your bill.)
•  If you don't know your PIN number to log into STINF, please visit the Registrar's office in the Student Services Center. You may also call the Registrar's Office at 570-389-4263 between the hours of 8:00 to 4:30 Eastern time for PIN assistance.

 

Students assisting with departmental or organizational websites...

  • If you are a student employee and your faculty/staff advisor requests your help with a departmental or organizational web page, please read this important information! Requests for web space for departmental or organizational sites must be done by the Faculty/Staff Advisor! (Request must include the name desired for departmental or organizational web.)

Problems publishing your webpages? Receiving FTP Errors?

If you have previously set your site up (PC / MAC) , and are still having problems, click Site > Manage Sites > Highlight your site name and click Edit. Choose the Remote Info tab under Categories. Enter your Logon and Password. Be sure to Test your connection while on that page.
