MAC Support

Before you start...

Student web pages - Students automatically have 100mb of space to build a student website. Visit the student web support page at http://ot.bloomu.edu/Student/myweb.php for instruction. The remainder of this support page relates to faculty or staff sites.

Requests by Faculty or Staff must be made by entering a help desk ticket. Fill in your contact info.

Under the Ticket Information tab choose:
Problem Type - Web Related Issues
Category - Indicate Fac/Staff (faculty or staff), Departmental or Organizational Website (dependent on which type of web you are building)
Symptom - Request New Website

Note: If you plan to have a student assist you with your web, YOU (faculty or staff) must enter the ticket. Students are not able to enter help desk tickets. Students requesting an organization site must have faculty advisor approval.

You will be notified once your account is ready, you will use your Active Directory user name and password. (The same user name and password you use to log onto your office computer.)

FTP access is permitted on the server. Please view the Publishing documents on the righthand side of this page.

What will your web address be?

  • Facstaff web pages will be http://facstaff.bloomu.edu/{username}
  • Departmental web pages will be http://departments.bloomu.edu/{name}
  • Organization pages will be http://organizations.bloomu.edu/{name}
