LOGGING INTO LABS AND CLASSROOMS: All public or departmental labs and classrooms require faculty/staff to log in using their Active Directory logon and password. (This is the same password you use to log onto your office computer.)

NETWORK DRIVES: Once logged into a campus computer, faculty/staff will have access to the same network drives available when logged in to their office computer. It is beneficial to place documents on a personal network drive (P drive) as you will have access to those documents if logged into an alternate location such as a lab or classroom. For more detailed information on the benefits of using the P drive, please visit this webpage.

(Note: The local computer drives (a, b, c, d, e, etc., will be different on lab computers.)

LOGGING OFF LAB AND CLASSROOM COMPUTERS: Since network storage is connected to a particular computer when you login, always remember to LOG OFF campus computers when you are finished with them.  If you don't, the next person using the computer will be able to access, change or delete your personal files.

Reminder! No file storage is absolutely secure. You are always responsible for backing up your files and maintaining your personal storage space.
