Who Uses STINF?

Undergraduate degree students may use the Student Information System (STINF) to schedule and register.

Undergraduate non-degree students must contact the Advisement Office for scheduling.
Graduate students must contact their Curriculum Coordinator/Department Chairperson for scheduling.
Upon completion of the Scheduling process, Students may login to STINF or CAPS to view their Schedule.

SEARCH SEMESTER COURSES OFFERED
Plan ahead..Use our "Search Semester Courses Offered" application to show which courses are available, how many seats remain, and it's location. If you would like to see which professor is teaching a course, use the course search from within STINF

Print a template to record your classes for scheduling by clicking here

CAPS Advisement
You can use the CAPS Advisement System to show which classes you have taken, how many requirements you have met, and your grades throughout the previous semesters. This is a VERY useful tool for scheduling classes and to keep you on track from taking courses you don't have to.

STINF is available Mon. through Fri. 8:00 AM to midnight, Sat. 8 am to 9 pm, Sunday noon to 11 pm. If you try to log in other than these times, the page will fail to load!

MAC User Problems

MAC OS 9.x Users - Netscape Navigator 4.7, which is available on most campus computers or can easily be downloaded, provides effective access to the mainframe computer, STINF, and FCINF.

MAC OS X Users - Netscape Navigator 4.7 also works fine in the Classic mode under OS X and should be used to access the mainframe programs STINF and FCINF. (The OS X version of both Netscape and Microsoft Explorer, however, do not work with OS X and should be avoided for accessing the mainframe programs.)

STINF was developed by the Applications Development & Operations Department for the convenience of our students.

If you have technical problems with STINF, please review the section above called "Problems Logging In?"

If you are working in a campus lab and are continuing to have problems, please check with the lab assistant if one is available.

The Help Desk (x4357) is available to assist you from 8 am to 4 pm daily.
