Signing into STINF: Students sign in using their student ID and PIN number.
How is a PIN number assigned?
When a new student is enrolled, a PIN number is automatically generated for them.
Where can I find my PIN number?
It appears on the student admissions letter, orientation schedule and then later, on their student bill.
What happens when a new student logs into STINF?
The first time a student logs into STINF, they must change their PIN number.
The next time they sign on, they are asked to choose a question/prompt.
This question/prompt can be used later on if a student forgets their PIN number.
You must also remember the question/prompt you choose in STINF as it will be necessary to use should you need to reset your MyMail password.
Why is that important? Because your MyMail logon and password are used to log into classroom and lab PCs. Click here to view an explanation on logging into lab and classroom computers.
How does a student change their PIN number?
Students may change their PIN number by first logging into STINF. Then click on the PIN change button within STINF. Your new PIN number must be 4 characters and contain letters and numbers.
What if a student cannot recall the question/prompt they originally created?
If this occurs, the student must visit the Registrar's office for assistance.
Where can I log into STINF?
Log onto the main Bloomsburg University page at http://www.bloomu.edu - click on the heading "Current Students" - you will find STINF listed there.
